After 2 years the Wirral Mencap Members’ Christmas party was back. No more Zoom party—although that was fun. No more changing the date. No more cancellations. Thank goodness.
Even though the weather was icy that night 130 members, volunteers and staff came together at St Anne’s Parish Centre, Birkenhead to catch up with friends and PARTY! That was a new venue for us —it looked lovely and festive. We had plenty of entertainment. Just for Fun Ukulele band got the night off to a good start. Thank you for joining us. Andrew Green amazed us with his fantastic magic show. How does he do that? Finally DJ Tony Smith took over for the rest of the night.
Everyone had a great time. It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.
