Monday 17th June – WUTH Visits

On Monday you will see us at Arrowe Park Hospital.  A group of our Learning Disability Advocates and Trainers will be in the hospital reception area for the day spreading the word about the importance of Hospital Health Passports.

We will be talking to patients, patient families and carers, and hospital staff about Health Passports. What they are, who should have one, and why. More information about Health Passports is available on the national Mencap website here.

This has been a key theme in the hospital’s Patient Experience Strategy and ongoing improvement programme.  The aim is to raise awareness about how Health Passports help people with learning disabilities get the reasonable adjustments and care they need while in hospital.

Please come and say hello if you are at Arrowe Park Hospital that day.
