Could you abseil down a lighthouse?
Well, Hayley, Julie, Sharon, and Liam can all now say that they can do it!
On Saturday 14th September they took on the challenge and completed the abseil to raise money for Wirral Mencap.
Twins, Hayley and Julie, were using the abseil to celebrate their 60th birthday – stepping into their 60s in style! A very big happy birthday to them.
And a big thank you to all four of the abseilers who did a fantastic job of raising money and awareness for Wirral Mencap and had fun at the same time.
Between the four of them they have raised a grand total of just under £1,500! Incredible!
Sharon, one of the abseilers, said, “I loved every minute of the abseil. I want to do it again. I think I’ll sign up to abseil Liverpool Cathedral next!”.
