Ken is a member of Wirral Mencap’s Fundraising Committee. He is always helping out with our fundraising. In May, he decided to host a coffee morning to raise funds for us.
Ken has hosted coffee mornings with Wirral Mencap before, but this time he wanted to do it on his own. He planned the event, asked for cake donations, and bought plenty of drinks and snacks to have on the day.
Several of Ken’s friends and family came to the coffee morning. Everyone had a good time listening to 60s music, telling stories, and enjoying the cake.
The morning raised £140. Well done Ken!
Ken said, “I enjoyed putting it on and I am really pleased with everyone that came. I would like to do another one. Thank you for coming.”
We are very impressed with Ken’s hard work and happy with how well the coffee morning went.
We need more people to host coffee mornings to raise money for us.
