On Saturday 15th June, Anna, Rebecca, Jimmy, Sarah, Phil, and Ruthie abseiled down Leasowe Lighthouse to raise money for Wirral Mencap.
The summer weather did not join us on the day, but this brave bunch went ahead despite the wind and the rain, and they did a fantastic job!
Our 6 abseilers raised a fantastic amount – over £1,000.
Our Fundraiser, Becca, said: “A massive well done to our participants in the abseil! They did an amazing job – I’ve never seen such speedy abseiling!”
Jimmy did the abseil and said: “It’s been great fun and I’d like to do it again”.
