A huge thank you and well done to the 10 amazing people who abseiled down Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday 5th July to raise money for Wirral Mencap.
Together, they raised just under £3,500 to help us continue to support adults with learning disabilities on the Wirral. We are so proud of them – not only for braving the challenging but for making a real difference in our community.
Thank you to Sharon, Matthew, Lisa, Alex, Rohan, Amanda, Derek, Jay, Hardeep, and Pete for taking part. And thank you to everyone who sponsored them!
Alex said, “I really enjoyed the abseil it was scary at first going over the edge but then I really felt relaxed. What to do a taller one next time! Proud that I raised a lot of money for Wirral Mencap which will help a lot.”
Feeling inspired?
If you would like to take part in a future abseil, run, skydive, or create your own challenge, we would love to hear from you!
Fundraising for Wirral Mencap is a brilliant way to make a difference while doing something unforgettable.
