Del’s Big Cycle for Charity

Our friend Del is riding his bike for charity! 🚴‍♂️

Del is 69 years old.

He works at BNR Supported Living Agency.

Del is also a survivor. He has beaten cancer 4 times and had a big heart operation.

Now, Del wants to help Wirral Mencap and BNR by riding his bike from Birkenhead Town Hall to Stoke. And then… he’s riding all the way back again!

That’s 130 miles in total! And he’s doing it in just 1 week.

📅 Del will set off on Friday 15th August in the morning

📅He will return on Friday 22nd August

He is doing this big bike ride to raise money for:

  • Wirral Mencap – to continue providing support to adults with learning disabilities
  • BNR to buy new equipment to help people they support

Del planned the whole thing himself and is doing it because he cares a lot about the people we support.

Del says: “I’ve been through a lot and I want to give back to the community.”

You can help Del by:

  • Giving a donation (ask a staff member if you need help)
  • Telling your friends and family
  • Cheering Del on!

We are very proud of Del. Thank you, Del!
