13:30 - 15:00
It’s our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 26th February at The Liberty Centre, Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead.
Join us at 1:30pm for a cup of tea and some cake. This will be a chance for a good catch up!
The meeting will start at 2pm. One of the main things we do at the meeting is vote for our Board of Trustees for 2026.
If you are a Wirral Mencap member, then you can vote. This is an important chance to have your say in how the charity is run. You will also hear about what we have been up to in 2025 and what we have planned for 2026.
We really hope to see you there!

What is a Trustee?
- Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They are like bosses or directors.
- They make important decisions about how the charity works, spends money, and helps people.
- The Trustees are volunteers. They do not get paid to be Trustees.
What do Trustees do?
- They make sure that Wirral Mencap does what it was set up to do.
- They make sure Wirral Mencap is following its own rules about working with members and other people.
- They make sure Wirral Mencap does not break the law and that people are safe.
- They check we are spending money responsibly and on the right things.
- They rell people about what we do and listen to ideas from others.
