We held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 26th February at the Liberty Centre. The AGM gave us chance to look back at the successes of 2025, vote for the Board of Trustees, and look at what we have planned for the next year.
Thank you to our trustees: Clare, Karen, Darren, Pat, Esther, and our newest trustee, Peter. Trustees are volunteers. They give up their time to carry out their role and support the running of Wirral Mencap.
Thank you also to The Liberty Centre for having us and to Clare at Coffee Aroma for the delicious cakes.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and made sure their voice was heard. Several of you even got on the mic to speak to the room. Ken and Nicola told us about the work they have been doing as members of the Fundraising Committee. Andrew shared how much he loves Crossbow Club.
And Whitney, from our Thursday Gateway Group, said, “I’d like to thank Wirral Mencap because without Wirral Mencap where would we be?”. We couldn’t agree more Whitney!
